It’s also known for its South Island Pinot Noir, youthful fresh-fruit couple with soft silky tannins.
New Zealand is by no means a two-trick pony though, with a wide range of different varieties finding a home and some forward-thinking winemakers producing some exciting wines with distinctive flavours. There will be some that definitely surprise you!
Join us for one of our great wine tastings in conjunction with Vindependents, sourcing high-quality wines from smaller independent producers that you won’t find in the shops (unless you count our fantastic new specialist Wine Shop in Reindeer Court!)
‘The Beardy Wine Guy’ is incredibly excited to guide you through this diverse wine list and has prepared some awesome paired nibbles to go along with them.
If you’d like something more substantial, our sharing boards and baked camembert, are an excellent way to accompany these fantastic wines too.
